Avocado Toast

Start your day green! Avocado plus your favorite fresh green herb adds healthly fat and nutrients to toast.

  • 1 slice (1 1/2 inch thick) whole-grain bread (fresh from local bakery)
  • 1/3 of an avocado, sliced 
  • 1/2 tbs olive oil
  • 3 fresh basil leaves*, coarsely chopped

*substitute with your favorite fresh herb: parsley, cilantro or for a little "sweet" mint!



Toast bread. Add sliced avocado. Drizzle olive oil evenly and top with fresh basil.


Wash it down!
